As the user works in a familiar word-processing environment such as Microsoft Word, the system responds quickly and accurately to automatically produce unprecedented high-quality, error-free texts. Errors are corrected based on sentence context, and only corrections with high semantic and grammatical fit are selected. The system corrects most types of mistakes, including unusual spelling mistakes, misused words, and grammatical errors* .

Users get to see all corrections and receive feedback including sample expressions, alternative word usages, and integrated speech.

Ginger Spell offers a set of complementary tools that enable educators, trainers, special-needs teachers, schools, school districts, dyslexia organizations, and parents to analyze and track students’ progress. The system provides detailed reports and analysis of users’ most frequent mistakes at the individual, class, school, and district levels.

Another unique feature of the system is that it can be used to compare instruction methods and to evaluate their effectiveness. Different users such as students, professionals, and parents can log in and, based on their access rights, use a Web-based application to review different levels of information. Teachers and others can intervene and set new parameters or even disable the system if necessary.
